INTERNAL MEETING ROOM DASHBOARD
A desktop dashboard used daily by community and operations teams to manage meeting room availability, bookings, and operational control with clarity and efficiency.
Year :
2026
Industry :
Workspace Management
Client :
Tayf Tech (Interview Task)
Project Duration :
2 hours

Problem :
The operations team needs a clear and practical way to manage meeting room bookings across locations from one centralized dashboard.
Currently, managing bookings can become confusing without a unified view of:
Room availability (free / booked / blocked)
Booking details (member name, company, time, room type)
Quick actions such as creating, editing, or blocking bookings
The experience must support speed, clarity, and daily operational efficiency.
SOLUTION + USER FLOW :
The solution focuses on a centralized meeting room overview with clear status indicators and fast, inline actions.
Operations team can:
View all rooms in one place
Identify availability at a glance
Create, edit, or block bookings quickly
Access key booking information without navigating through multiple layers

Challenge :
The main challenge was balancing clarity with functionality in a high-usage internal tool
The screen needed to display multiple rooms and booking details simultaneously without becoming visually overwhelming, while keeping actions fast and accessible
Since this is a daily operational tool, the experience had to prioritize practicality over visual complexity
EXECUTION :
The wireframes focus on layout clarity and information hierarchy
Key decisions included:
Clear visual differentiation between free, booked, and blocked states
Structuring booking information to be immediately scannable
Keeping primary actions visible and accessible without adding extra steps
The final structure supports fast decision-making and smooth booking management within a single view
IMPACT :
Reduces booking conflicts and scheduling errors
Improves visibility of room utilization across locations
Enables faster booking creation and modification
Supports smoother daily operations for community teams
